When properly installed and cared for, your new flooring will be easy to maintain and will keep its great look for years. Please read all the instructions before you begin the installation. Improper installation will void the warranty. National Tiles hybrid flooring must be installed in accordance with these instructions, the current AS 1884: Floor Covering – Resilient Sheet and Tiles Installation Practices, and any other applicable national standards or building codes in effect at the time of installation. National Tiles hybrid flooring requires a floating floor installation. Install all permanent fixtures and fittings prior to the flooring installation, ensuring the required space is left for expansion and contraction. Furniture or other heavy items weighing 200kg or more should not be placed on the floor. Hybrid floors have a waterproof surface by design; however, the installation method does not create a waterproof membrane or floor covering. This product is for internal use only — it is not suitable for outdoor use or for areas subject to continual wetting or with floor wastes. Whilst National Tiles Nottingham Hybrid Flooring is designed for easy, hasslefree installation, National Tiles recommends that installation be carried out by a professional flooring installer. important note to the installer •
Inspect the hybrid flooring before cutting or installation: The flooring materials should be inspected in a well-lit area to ensure the correct product, colour, pattern, and quantity (as ordered), that the given areas are from the same batch, and that there is no obvious transit damage, manufacturing defects, or other visual faults.
