An Evening with Halla Hrund Logadóttir The Changing Arctic MIDDLEBURG, VA — The National Sporting Library & Museum (NSLM) is pleased to invite the community to an illuminating evening focused on the environment, energy, and innovation for the Arctic. On Tuesday, March 24, 2026, NSLM will host a cocktail reception followed by a lecture and discussion with world-renowned energy expert Halla Hrund Logadóttir, Director-General of Iceland's National Energy Authority and Member of the Icelandic Parliament. This enlightening program will begin with a cocktail reception, allowing guests to connect and converse, before attending a thought-provoking discussion led by Ms. Logadóttir. Drawing on her distinguished career, she will address critical themes of environmental stewardship, clean energy, and forward-looking innovation in the Arctic—one of the world's most dynamic and ecologically significant regions. About Halla Hrund a Logadóttir Halla Hrund Logadóttir is one of Iceland's most distinguished public figures and scientists. She currently serves as Director-General of Iceland's National Energy Authority and as a sitting member of the Icelandic Parliament. She holds advanced degrees from the University of Iceland, Tufts University, and Harvard University. A leading voice on global energy and Arctic policy, Ms. Logadóttir co-curates the World Economic Forum's Arctic Transformation Map and was among fifteen invited
