A winner of the highly sought-after Dr Supanee Gazeley Fine Art Prize, his work has been exhibited across the UK and Europe.
Jilly Sutton trained as a sculptor at Exeter College of Art. Her career developed in Nigeria, where the art forms that flourish there (particularly carvings and textiles) fired her imagination. Jilly’s sculptures have been exhibited internationally and are in public and private collections in the UK and abroad. Her carved wooden portrait of the former Poet Laureate Andrew Motion is in the National Portrait Gallery’s permanent collection.
Over the years as a bronze sculpture artist, Nicola has worked on many site-specific public artworks with property companies and other organisations. Her first large sculpture commission was the Hammersmith Man figure in 1988 and her most recent large bronze sculpture was the Icarus sculpture for the Olympic Village in London in 2012.The bulk of her work has been private work of various sizes exhibited in galleries in the U.K, Ireland and the USA.
Ruth’s artworks are limited editions, she has created numerous commissions and her work features in corporate, institutional and private collections both internationally and across the UK. Her sculptures are predominantly made from metal, but she often combines other materials such as glass and acrylic to reflect her interpretation of a structure.
