The dome is an architectural element that can be traced back in time to ancient civilizations and Roman builders. Domes are strong and stable. They elevate a space to something greater. Through my travels and multiple projects I studied them.

Sky Scrapers. Large, overwhelming towers which either inspire or overwhelm. They gather people together and encourage interactation within densely populated areas. I experimented with this idea through the use of different mediums.

A project where we were tasked to create a master plan for Silver Lake Meadows in Los Angeles. My group had to intergate housings units, parking, and retail spaces together within our section of the master plan. We focused on how our how buildings could intergrate into the existing neighbor and still offer a place of passage and engagement for all those in the community.

A project in McKees Rocks, PA, focused on turning an artist home into a monument, a sculpture, something to represent the inhabitants living inside of it. Viewing the building as an object that can be placed on the site and informed by the landscape.
