THANK YOU NASSAU BAY FOR THE WONDERFUL BEAUTIFICATION DAY TURN OUT! Early in the morning some of you reported to the David Braun Pavilion while many of you went straight to the flower beds.
EASTER IN THE PARK We were delighted with the turnout this year for our Annual Easter in the Park event, ranging from the Easter Bunny's visit to CANBE's Easter Bonnet Contest!
Congratulations to this year's Bonnet Contest winners, Rosemary Bolder 1st place & Debra Crowell 2nd place. We would like to extend our gratitude to all the volunteers and participants who made this event a success.

FOR HURRICANE SEASON Just a friendly reminder that Hurricane Season begins June 1st. Now is a good time to prepare your family and your property in case a storm comes our way. • Know Your Hurricane Risk • Know Your Evacuation Zone • Assemble Disaster Supplies • Prepare Financially • Check Your Insurance Coverage • Strengthen Your Home • Check on Your Neighbors • Make an Emergency Plan Please join us for our Hurricane & Flood Preparedness Meeting on May 27th @ 6:30pm at Nassau Bay City Hall Council Chambers. Our guest speaker will be Dan Reilly, Retired Meteorologist with the NWS Houston/Galveston. Dan will provide us with the 2026 Hurricane Forecast. We will have door prizes, snacks & drinks!
On a fun note, it seems several of the kids made their own plans to weed and plant! A special thank you goes to Mary Ann Willis who earlier in the week single-handedly weeded many of the beds! This is the perfect time of year to explore our parks to view some of the new plants and to just have fun!
