NATIONAL POLICE WEEK MAY 14-20, 2023

In 1962, President Kennedy proclaimed May 15 as National Peace Officers Memorial Day and the calendar week in which May 15 falls, as National Police Week. Established by a joint resolution of Congress in 1962, National Police Week pays special recognition to those law enforcement officers who have lost their lives in the line of duty for the safety and protection of others. Nassau Bay City Hall / Police Offices will be lit in blue during Police Week to remember those officers who died in the line of duty, including Nassau Bay PD Sgt. Kaila Sullivan, E.O.W. 12-10-2019.

Nassau Bay will hold a memorial ceremony to remember Sgt. Sullivan and all the officers who have made the ultimate sacrifice on Wednesday, May 17, 2023, 10:00 am, at the Nassau Bay Police Memorial located in the Town Square in front of the Marriot Hotel.

Welcome Communications Coordinator hanna lowery

The City of Nassau Bay Welcomes Hanna Lowery as the Communications Coordinator.

Hanna's first day as Communications Coordinator was Monday, April 3rd. Hanna brings with her over 3 years of Communications experience and has previously worked for the City of Galveston and the Houston Astros Organization. Hanna recieved her Bachelor of Arts (BA) from Texas A&M University- Corpus Christi in History and Digital Journalism. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, and cat, Toby.
