The City of Nassau Bay will hold a General Election and Special Election on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at Nassau Bay City Hall. Voters will elect City Council members and consider the following local sales tax proposition
Special Election – Proposition A “FOR” or “AGAINST”
THE REAUTHORIZATION OF THE CITY OF NASSAU BAY’S EXISTING LOCAL SALES AND USE TAX AT THE RATE OF ONE-FOURTH OF ONE PERCENT (0.25%) TO CONTINUE PROVIDING REVENUE FOR THE MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR OF EXISTING MUNICIPAL STREETS

To vote, you must be a registered voter. The voter registration deadline is April 2, 2026.

Please join the Nassau Bay Garden Club for our monthly meeting on Tuesday, March 10, 2026
Beekeeper Melissa Morris will give us a close look at the art of beekeeping, from protective gear and equipment to the actual harvesting of honey Come find out how much our food depends on these amazing pollinators
The meeting will be held at Nassau Bay’s City Hall in the City Council Chambers and is open to the public The meeting will begin with refreshments at 9:30 a m and some time to socialize, followed by the program and guest speaker at 10:00 a m

The Christmas Light Golf Cart Cruise – a wonderful gathering of friends, neighbors, and strangers – is a joyful tour of festively-decorated Nassau Bay homes and yards
The route varies each year to include the most brightly-lit homes in the community The cruise starts with hot cocoa, and ends at Howard Ward Park where Santa awaits the caravan The original 2022 event had 16 golf carts, this year there were 44, and each year there are more and more creatively-decorated carts Hats off to Erin Boyd and Kathy Prior for organizing this wonderful annual event

2026 Trustee Election
As required in the bylaws for the Nassau Bay Homes Association, the annual election for its Board of Trustees will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2026, from 7AM-7PM in the cafeteria area at 1322 Space Park Drive.
Any member who desires to become a candidate for election to a Trustee position may file an application with the Association not earlier than 60 days (Tuesday, March 3, 2026), nor later than 30 days (Thursday, April 2, 2026) to the scheduled election date
Two seats are open this year, each with a term of two years The candidate receiving the highest and second-highest number of votes shall be elected.
