JULY 4TH CELEBRATION 2025 EVENT DETAILS The Nassau Bay Special Events Committee (SEC) is in the planning process for this year's Fourth of July Celebration, to be held on Friday, July 4. The day will begin with the city wide "Water Wars", from 12pm-2pm. To join in, you need to wear a stars and stripes bandana. That's how you know who is participating in the fun and is fair game for squirting with your water gun! If you don't already have one, you can pick one up July 3 or July 4 at 1503 Davon between 9am and 10am. At 6pm, join the community for a special parade to honor and celebrate our Veterans. Parade line-up will begin at 5pm at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church. There will be designated lines if you would like to drop off ahead of time. All are welcome to join! The float judging categories this year will include Lil Firecracker; Wagons &Wheels; Red, White, and Blue; Most Patriotic; and Grand Champion. We will have a cooling station for relief for anyone that needs it during the lineup wait.
