"The Voices of Jon Fosse" is the first international anthology devoted to the literary and dramatic works of Nobel laureate Jon Fosse. Bringing together contributions from leading scholars and critics, the volume situates Fosse’s prose and drama within broader aesthetic, theological, and philosophical contexts. The first part examines his essays, fiction, and translations, addressing questions of literary promise, gnosticism, masculinity, and the materiality of language. The second part turns to his drama, exploring its aesthetics of absence, realism, and postdramatic theatre, as well as its reception on the international stage.
