RED TICKET PROGRAM November 1st - December 24th
To encourage shopping local for the holiday season and to promote the sustainability of island commerce, the Chamber continues it’s popular Annual Red Ticket Program. Participating businesses will give out one red ticket for every $25 purchased. Double Red Ticket days are available upon request. In 2025 414,000 Red Tickets were distributed by Chamber Member merchants to their customers, resulting in over $10 million in estimated sales generated through the Program! BLACK HISTORY MONTH CELEBRATION
Feburary 2027
Each February, we proudly host Nantucket’s Annual Black History Month Celebration, an uplifting and heartfelt tribute to Black heritage, culture, and excellence. Every year, we explore a new theme that brings to life the richness and depth of Black history through an engaging program of spoken word, song, dance, and thought-provoking presentations from notable speakers both within our community and beyond. This meaningful event is made possible through our cherished partnership with the Nantucket Department of Culture and Tourism and Nantucket High School. Their collaboration has helped us grow the celebration into a powerful community tradition that honors the past, celebrates the present, and inspires the future. We’re always open to new energy and support, we would love to have you be part of this special celebration! Each March, we come together to honor the power, resilience, and achievements of women at our annual International Women’s Day Breakfast & Panel. In conjunction with the global IWD organization, we use their yearly theme as inspiration to shape a meaningful and locally rooted program.The heart of the event is our inspiring panel, an impressive lineup of women from across the Nantucket community who share their stories, perspectives, and insights on how the theme connects to their lives and careers. Guests also enjoy a warm and welcoming breakfast featuring delicious bites crafted by women-owned businesses right here on the island.
