The Speech and Debate team has traveled across the Eastern United States this year, competing in all different types of tournaments, including local and national tournaments. Led by seniors Zack Helberg and Benjamin Ball, the team competes year-round with many different schools from around the country. The Speech and Debate team has accomplished so much during this school year. BGA’s Speech and Debate team is currently ranked as the number one independent school in Tennessee. The team placed twelfth at a tournament located at George Mason University, where BGA competed with only nine students against hundreds of schools from around the country. (Continued onto next page)
