A truck belonging to Nel Snel Transport, carrying a load of fish from Walvis Bay, was among several vehicles torched in escalating violence at the Lebombo border crossing between South Africa and Mozambique this week. The truck, en route along the Trans-Kalahari Corridor, became a casualty in the crossfire as protests over a disputed election in Mozambique sparked deadly clashes and widespread infrastructure damage. The unrest, triggered by
allegations of election fraud against Mozambique's ruling Frelimo party, has left at least 18 people dead. Human rights groups report the use of tear gas, live ammunition, and internet restrictions as the violence conti-nues. Protesters have repor-

With N$70 000 the youth project recipient, Peneyambeko Shituleipo have received, he procured 82 solar-powered lights for households with school-going children at Farm 37's Green Valley. Shituleipo, a student nurse at Welwitschia University in Walvis Bay, stated, Once I saw the poster for the Youth Climate Action Fund, I knew I could make a
difference in the lives of the people of Green Valley. Shituleipo said that her project, funded by the Youth Climate Action Fund, an initiative which received
