Namibia entered a new era of continental trade integration on Monday this week with the official launch of its first export consignment under the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA). The event, held at the Atlantic Hotel in Walvis Bay and followed by a symbolic flag-off at the port, marked the country's formal participation in the world's largest free trade area. Officiated by the Minister of International Relations and Trade, Honourable Selma Ashipala-Musavyi, the launch served as a powerful signal that
