Walvis Bay Waterfront and Marina Development / Namport Walvis Bay Waterfront Development Eileen van der Schyff

Two separate waterfront development projects, complimentary to, but not to be confused with one another are anticipated at Walvis Bay. First, of which is a joint venture between Afrikuumba and the Walvis Bay Municipal Council, the 'Walvis Bay Waterfront and Marina Development', and the second, the Namibian Ports Authority's 'Walvis Bay Waterfront and Marina Development'. These two developments will be integrated in and around the Port of Walvis Bay South Port, and on completion, will soften and at the same time compliment the adjacent heavy industrial activities within the port, and give the public a unique port waterfront and marina experience in its aim to become the main local and tourist attraction in Walvis Bay.
