Your Summer Guide for your home, pets & peace of mind
Waste to Worth: Powering a circular future
Step Into the Spotlight: We’re looking for you
The past few months have brought its share of change, both within our community and beyond it. Through it all, what has kept our work meaningful is the steady spirit of the people who live here, the familiar faces and the small daily exchanges that quietly hold our neighbourhood together. That sense of belonging is what gives this place its character and it is what we work to protect every day.
The Flame Tree season, which has just passed, offered its own quiet tribute to that idea. Those brief flashes of orange hold a particular place in the UAE's annual rhythm, marking a turn in the season with grace and a welcome pause before the warmer months take hold.
As the UAE marks the Year of Family, our focus has remained firmly on the home you have built here. From thoughtful upgrades across the community to the quieter, behind-the-scenes work that keeps things running well, our efforts continue to centre around you. A closer look at these improvements follows in the pages ahead and as your Community Management team, we remain close at hand for anything you may need along the way.
As summer settles in, we hope it brings rest, warmth and time with the people who matter most. Looking after our surroundings is a shared effort and together we can ensure this community continues to feel like a place we are proud to call home.

With consistent care, innovative solutions and a residentsfirst approach, your community continues to grow stronger. Here’s a look at the changes and improvements in your neighbourhood during these past three months.
Exciting upgrades are underway at your much-loved community destination, Al Ittihad Park in Palm Jumeirah.
Your park is steadily evolving into a more vibrant, green and welcoming community space for you, your family and the wider community.
With major construction works now completed, we are entering a quieter phase focused on landscaping, finishing touches and creating a calmer, more enjoyable environment for residents and visitors.

Smarter irrigation systems are underway.
Palm Jumeirah’s green waste is being repurposed to nourish the park.
Native Ghaf and flame trees are enhancing biodiversity.

Residents at Azure Residences can now stay connected more conveniently with the installation of a new digital screen in the lobby.
This new upgrade will bring important building notices, community updates, announcements and more, bringing key information directly into your daily view.

Aligned with Dubai’s broader green ambitions, Palm Jumeirah is taking a visible step forward.
Selected for their striking seasonal blooms, 200 flame trees are now being added to key areas across the community to strengthen Palm Jumeirah’s visual identity and elevate the streetscape.
As the canopy cover develops over time, the upgrade will also improve outdoor comfort through increased shade, cooler walkways and reduced ground temperatures, making everyday movement more pleasant during warmer months.
At Azure Residences, a smarter approach to pool maintenance is now in place with the introduction of AI-powered robotic cleaning technology.
Operating overnight, the robots intelligently map and clean the entire pool area, including hard-to-reach sections, ensuring consistent results and an efficient pool experience for residents every day.

A fun, fish-shaped recycling installation has landed at Palm Jumeirah East Beach, inviting residents and visitors to recycle with purpose.
Launched in partnership with Imdaad and inspired by the global Plastic Free July movement, the installation is a bright reminder that small actions can create big environmental impact.
The bin will be in place until Monday, 31 August 2026, so there’s plenty of time to get involved. Whether you’re heading out for a morning walk or a sunset swim, don’t forget to feed the fish responsibly.

A more efficient way forward is now in place beneath the roads of Palm Jumeirah.
The underpasses have now been enhanced with energy-efficient LED lighting, bringing brighter, more consistent illumination across the network.
With reduced energy consumption of around 50%, this upgrade supports improved overall operational efficiency and lowers long-term maintenance requirements.

During the warmer months, the team continues clearing naturally occurring algae along the shoreline and shallow waters. Near the Canal Cove villas, small submersible pumps have also been added to improve water movement in calmer spots, helping reduce build-up and support better water quality.
This steady approach helps maintain a well-kept coastal environment that residents can continue to enjoy with confidence, whatever the season.

Residents were treated to a refreshing summer surprise, adding a little extra sweetness to the season.
Missed out? Our ice-cream carts are visiting on 18 and 19 July from 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM by the Al Ittihad Park Fountain

Dubai Holding Community Management is advancing circular economy practices through two sustainability initiatives that convert waste into usable environmental value.
With ReFarm Global Investments, DHCM launched Dubai’s first 'Sea-to-Soil' initiative within community management. Signed by Francis Giani, CEO of DHCM, and Oliver Christof, CEO of ReFarm Global Investments, the MoU supports solutions that transform algae and organic waste into regenerative inputs. Pilot trials in Palm Jumeirah converted 120 kg of algae waste into 31 kg of nutrient rich Re-Soil compost, now used for landscaping and soil enhancement.
In partnership with Hyvgeo, DHCM has also initiated a green waste upcycling pilot, collecting landscape waste monthly and converting it into biochar to improve soil condition and water retention, supporting more efficient irrigation and an estimated water reduction of up to 30%.

In 2025, 14 tonnes of green waste from our managed communities were diverted from landfill through a local circular partnership with Palmade. Landscaping byproducts, primarily date palm leaves, were transformed into biodegradable cutlery, now used across select Jumeirah brands, supporting responsible sourcing and reducing single-use plastics.

Dubai Holding Community Management (DHCM) has launched its first dedicated staff welfare and rest area in Jumeirah Village Triangle under Project Raha, named after the Arabic word for comfort and wellbeing.
The facility has been created for frontline teams working across facilities management, housekeeping, landscaping and security, providing a clean and air-conditioned space where they can rest and recharge during their shifts, especially in the summer months.
This initiative reflects DHCM’s ongoing commitment to caring for the people who support the daily upkeep of our communities and ensure they remain safe, clean and well-maintained for all residents.
As the first of its kind, Project Raha also sets the foundation for similar facilities across other communities in the future, further strengthening the overall community experience.
