Your Summer Guide for your home, pets & peace of mind
Waste to Worth: Powering a circular future
Step Into the Spotlight: We’re looking for you
The past few months have brought its share of change, both within our community and beyond it. Through it all, what has kept our work meaningful is the steady spirit of the people who live here, the familiar faces and the small daily exchanges that quietly hold our neighbourhood together. That sense of belonging is what gives this place its character and it is what we work to protect every day.
The Flame Tree season, which has just passed, offered its own quiet tribute to that idea. Those brief flashes of orange hold a particular place in the UAE's annual rhythm, marking a turn in the season with grace and a welcome pause before the warmer months take hold.
As the UAE marks the Year of Family, our focus has remained firmly on the home you have built here. From thoughtful upgrades across the community to the quieter, behind-the-scenes work that keeps things running well, our efforts continue to centre around you. A closer look at these improvements follows in the pages ahead and as your Community Management team, we remain close at hand for anything you may need along the way.
As summer settles in, we hope it brings rest, warmth and time with the people who matter most. Looking after our surroundings is a shared effort and together we can ensure this community continues to feel like a place we are proud to call home.

With consistent care, innovative solutions and a residentsfirst approach, your community continues to grow stronger. Here’s a look at the changes and improvements in your neighbourhood during these past three months.
Aligned with Dubai’s broader green ambitions, Al Furjan is taking a visible step forward.
Selected for their striking seasonal blooms, flame trees have been added to key areas across the community to strengthen the community’s visual identity and elevate the streetscape.

Completing the upgrade, 833 sqm of vinca flowers, 2,555 sqm of shrubs including bougainvillea, clerodendrum and jatropha and 750 sqm of ground cover of sesuvium and ruellia are now in place, bringing colour, charm and a burst of new life to our neighbourhood.
The improved greenery enhances the overall landscape and creates a more welcoming environment for residents and visitors, supporting a more pleasant community atmosphere and well-maintained shared areas.

Across three gazebos in Al Furjan East, festoon lights have been replaced to bring better illumination and a softer evening glow to these popular gathering spots.

Al Furjan West is also levelling up its recreation offering with a fresh line-up of sports and play amenities.

Over in Al Furjan West, residents can now enjoy a new open-air, amphitheatre-inspired recreation space, created for community events, leisure activities and casual hangouts.

Younger residents can enjoy new multi-age play areas featuring a carousel, climbers, trampolines and more, creating fun spaces to play, explore and move outdoors.

At the heart of these additions, two new padel courts and two basketball courts bring more ways for residents to stay active, from friendly shootarounds to fastpaced matches.

Rounding out the additions is a new outdoor gym, complete with battle ropes, abdominal crunch and sit-up benches, giving residents another energising way to work out in the open air.
We are proud to share the success of our food waste recycling initiative across 250 villas in Al Furjan – Al Quortaj 2 & 3.
Since its introduction, the community’s food waste recycling initiative has seen strong participation from residents, supporting more sustainable living across Al Furjan.

A big shoutout to our top contributors for leading the charge and helping drive a greener, more responsible community.
With dedicated food waste bins in place, residents have been actively segregating waste, which is then converted into compost and reused for landscaping, as well as supporting a community garden featuring fruits and herbs.
This initiative demonstrates how small, consistent actions at the household level can create a meaningful environmental impact, reducing landfill dependence, lowering emissions, and supporting a circular economy.
We thank all participating residents for their commitment and contribution to a greener community.

Getting around just got a lot easier.
A newly completed asphalt road is now open, creating a direct link between Garden Ring Road, Al Furjan and Al Furjan West.
What used to mean a longer drive and extra turns for residents from Murooj Al Furjan East, Murooj Al Furjan West and Tilal Al Furjan is now a far smoother access in and out of the community, making every-day-journeys feel that much simpler.

As part of ongoing road safety improvements, 6 new speed humps have been installed across the community to encourage safer driving speeds and enhance pedestrian safety within residential areas.
Building on these efforts, added protection is now in place along key community roads where plastic bollards have been installed to help prevent unauthorised entry and support a safer, more orderly movement throughout the community.
These upgrades form a part of the ongoing efforts to enhance safety, accessibility and the smooth day-to-day functioning of shared spaces, while maintaining a wellstructured urban environment.

Dubai Holding Community Management is advancing circular economy practices through two sustainability initiatives that convert waste into usable environmental value.
With ReFarm Global Investments, DHCM launched Dubai’s first 'Sea-to-Soil' initiative within community management. Signed by Francis Giani, CEO of DHCM, and Oliver Christof, CEO of ReFarm Global Investments, the MoU supports solutions that transform algae and organic waste into regenerative inputs. Pilot trials in Palm Jumeirah converted 120 kg of algae waste into 31 kg of nutrient rich Re-Soil compost, now used for landscaping and soil enhancement.
In partnership with Hyvgeo, DHCM has also initiated a green waste upcycling pilot, collecting landscape waste monthly and converting it into biochar to improve soil condition and water retention, supporting more efficient irrigation and an estimated water reduction of up to 30%.

In 2025, 14 tonnes of green waste from our managed communities were diverted from landfill through a local circular partnership with Palmade. Landscaping byproducts, primarily date palm leaves, were transformed into biodegradable cutlery, now used across select Jumeirah brands, supporting responsible sourcing and reducing single-use plastics.

This initiative reflects DHCM’s ongoing commitment to caring for the people who support the daily upkeep of our communities and ensure they remain safe, clean and well-maintained for all residents.
As the first of its kind, Project Raha also sets the foundation for similar facilities across other communities in the future, further strengthening the overall community experience.
