Preliminary Lighting Sketches| Ideas

Paris based architecture and urban planning studio, on a site speci c, sustainable residence in Neuvecelle, Eastern France. The goal of this project was to create a home that inspires the residents and places their well being at the core of the design.

For “La Maison d’Omid” they utilized the resources, expertise and artisans available within 100km radius of the project site. They drew their inspiration from local and contextual intelligence as well as the climatic characters of the region. The lighting concept of this project focuses on highlighting spatial identities within the home, enhancing architectural volumes and materials while creating a human centric lighting design that allows exibility for the families evolving needs.

Linear Indirect lights have been carefully concealed at the wooden structure to Illuminate the ceiling at night to create a soft and warm glow from within the house.

.Inorder to define the architectural volumes is needed to creat the Light and shadow at the same time and select edges and different elements to be highlighted or not
