Nadir Lahmeur

Nadir Lahmeur is a business leader with over 25 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and healthcare packaging industries. Based in the United States, he has managed markets across the Americas while working closely with manufacturing plants in Europe and Asia. As General Manager, Americas for SGD Pharma, he directed operations across North and Latin America, with a focus on Mexico and Brazil as significant key areas of growth. During this time, regional revenues increased nearly fourfold as he focused on transformation, innovation, and market development. He studied mechanical engineering at McGill University in Canada, earning a Bachelor of Science in 1994. That same year, he began his career at Valois of America, now part of Aptar Pharma, where he served as Project Development Manager and Technical Sales Engineer. In this role, he worked with pharmaceutical companies in North America to launch nasal spray pumps and aerosol delivery systems. He also played a key role in supporting the transition of products from late-stage clinical trials to commercial launch, ensuring alignment between European engineering teams and U.S. clients. In 1997, he joined SGD Pharma and advanced through senior roles over nearly three decades. Starting as Director of Sales for North America, he delivered strong growth and expanded into new segments. Later, as Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing for the Americas, he doubled revenues by balancing specialty and high-volume packaging strategies. In 2016, he became General Manager of the Americas, where he established a U.S. legal entity and commercial structure. He expanded in Brazil, secured significant investment for production capacity, and guided the business through the COVID-19 pandemic. He also launched a beauty division, developing strategy and leadership for market entry.
