The heartbeat of Music City is getting a bold new upgrade. One steel beam at a time. Just east of the current stadium along the Cumberland River, construction is officially underway on the new Nissan Stadium, and it’s already turning heads as one of the most ambitious and transformative projects in Nashville’s history.
Scheduled to open in Spring 2027, this $2.1 billion, state-of-the-art facility will be the future home of the Tennessee Titans, and a whole lot more. With sleek design, cutting-edge technology, and sustainability at its core, the new stadium is being built not just for football, but for the fans, families, and visitors who make this city shine.
So, what’s in store? Imagine this: a 60,000-seat, fully enclosed, climate-controlled dome with panoramic views of downtown and the Cumberland River. The stadium promises to deliver an unforgettable experience, complete with frictionless concessions, immersive LED displays (including the legendary “Ring of Fire”), expanded restrooms, and a 12,000-square-foot community space designed for year-round events. It’s a venue built for concerts, college games, conventions, and more, making it a new crown jewel in Nashville’s entertainment landscape.
And it’s not just flash and flair; this stadium is serious about sustainability. LEED Gold certification is the goal, with over 90% of construction waste being recycled,
rainwater harvesting systems in place, and community-conscious development at every level.
The Tennessee Builders Alliance, a local team leading construction effort, reports that major excavation, foundation, and structural work is on track. The skyline is already changing as steel framing climbs skyward, and thanks to the Titans, you can watch it happen in real-time via their livestream.
As the countdown to kickoff continues, one thing is clear: this is so much more than a new stadium. It’s a symbol of where Nashville is headed. Bigger. Bolder. Better.
CMA Fest 2025 lit up Nashville once again with four unforgettable days of country music, camaraderie, and unforgettable moments. Held June 5–8, the city came alive with fans from around the world converging on Music City to experience everything from mega-stadium performances to intimate acoustic sets.
Nissan Stadium hosted the biggest names in the business, including Jason Aldean, Kelsea Ballerini, Luke Bryan, and Blake Shelton, along with high-energy surprises like Jelly Roll and Trace Adkins joining artists on stage. At Ascend Amphitheater, Wynonna Judd’s “Girls Night Out” featured powerhouse voices like Sara Evans and Noah Cyrus, making for one of the most talked-about sets of the weekend.
But CMA Fest isn’t just about the headliners, it’s where the heart of country music beats loudest in the hands of emerging artists. Our Publisher had the chance to meet with several rising stars who brought fresh stories, passion, and powerful performances to the festival stages. These are just a few of the amazing artists we were able to meet that day!
Bailey Morgan performed throughout the week and continues to gain momentum with her latest single “Nascar Track,” a heartfelt, nostalgic anthem. She’s becoming a must-watch voice in country-pop, with recent sets at Whiskey Jam and other Nashville staples.
Callum Kerr wowed crowds with his high-energy performances while teasing tracks from his upcoming EP Roots Under Me, dropping July 25. Singles like “Cold Beer Cold” and “All Out Of Me” reveal his blend of grit and melody that’s earning him fans fast.
Jordan Rainer, fresh off her fiery release “The Girl You Left,” brought storytelling and soul to the festival. With summer tour dates underway, she’s connecting with fans who appreciate her raw honesty and powerhouse vocals.
Liv Hatfield, only 15 years old, stood out with maturity beyond her years. Her debut EP Sky’s the Limit and recent single “Not For You” showcase her blend of heart and resilience that’s turning heads industry-wide.
Shane Profitt, a Columbia, Tennessee native and recent tourmate of Chris Janson, brought true southern grit to the CMA Fest stage. His newest single, “Better Off Fishin’,” captures his blue-collar charm and rising star power with radio-friendly hooks and down-to-earth lyrics.
Williams Honor, the dynamic New Jersey duo, brought their signature “Jersey Country” to the streets of Nashville. Their latest release, “WHISKEY TRUCK,” and upcoming single “Can’t Wait 2 B Ashamed” prove their sound is both bold and authentic.
CMA Fest 2025 was a celebration of legacy, community, and the next generation of talent shaping country music’s future. From the stadium to the street stage, the magic of Music City never missed a beat. Follow our sister magazine, Country Music Magazine, on social media (@CountryMusicMagazine) for more updates! From pro athletes to beauty influencers, it seems like everyone is plunging into ice these days, literally. Cold therapy, especially in the form of ice baths, cryo facials, and cold plunges, is one of the hottest (ironically) wellness trends online. But does it really work, or is it just another TikTok-fueled gimmick?
Let’s break it down.
THE BENEFITS
Ice baths and cold exposure are said to help reduce inflammation, support faster muscle recovery, and even boost mood through a rush of endorphins. But here’s where beauty enters the picture:
• Reduced puffiness (especially in the face)
• Tighter, smoother-looking skin
• Boosted circulation, which can give you a post-plunge glow
• Improved sleep and lowered stress, both of which directly impact how we look and feel
Many people swear by cryo facials or facial ice rollers to de-puff under-eye bags and tighten pores before an event. Others brave full-body plunges for the mental clarity and overall vitality that seem to radiate from the inside out.
THE DOWNSIDES
Here’s the cold truth: plunging into icy water isn’t always as glamorous as it looks online.
• It can be uncomfortable, even painful, especially if done improperly.
• Not recommended for everyone: Those with heart issues or certain medical conditions should check with a doctor first.
• There’s a risk of overdoing it, leading to nerve sensitivity or prolonged cold shock.
Plus, like any wellness trend, what works for one person might not be magic for another. Cold therapy shouldn’t replace
• MYTH: Only athletes or influencers need cold therapy.
Let’s clear up a few things:
• MYTH: Ice baths burn a ton of fat.
• TRUTH: While cold exposure may slightly activate brown fat (which burns calories), it’s not a weight-loss method.
• MYTH: One plunge will transform your skin.
• TRUTH: Consistency matters. One icy dip might wake you up, but lasting results come with repetition and pairing with good habits.
• TRUTH: Anyone can benefit—from tired parents to 9–5 warriors—if done safely.
Cold therapy isn’t just hype, but it’s also not a cure-all either. It’s a tool. Whether you need to sore muscles, want a clearer complexion, or just looking for a natural pick-me-up, adding a little chill to your routine might be exactly what you need. Just don’t forget to warm up afterward!

Have you ever noticed that many men and women suffer in silence? I’m a solutions guy. I know we all have multiple problems, but many people don’t realize that a slight change in our diets and what sits at the edge of our forks and spoons can make all of the difference in the world. Trust me when I say this Louisville, KY southern guy loves his comfort food, but I’ve learned to do it in moderation. I’m a performer and I’ve acted and sang live on stages from the TPAC at Jackson Hall opposite Robin Givens and Leon Robinson, all the way up to the Bushnell in Hartford, CT. Fourteen years ago, one close call after a night singing in the studio changed my life and I’m forever grateful. That led to surgery to remove scare tissue from acid reflux, my healthy diets, and products like NEMUI Nutriswish and NEURO. After two years of active rehab and dieting, I’m now healthier and happier than ever. Glutathione is the active ingredient in NEUMI Nutriswish and a swish for 30 seconds in the morning and again at night can make all the difference in the world. Stay healthy and safe and don't forget to swish with Nutriswish.

Unhealthy water is the #1 cause of death for children in the world. When we hear this, we think of 3rd world countries, and we should. But, it greatly effects adults as well, and yes, in America – you & me. I am a Chemist & BioChemist, working in the water treatment field for 47 years, both in the USA & 3rd world countries. As Americans, we need to be educated on water.
The greatest exposure Americans have to carcinogens is in the shower. Just as the 2nd most effective way to inject a drug into our bloodstream is inhalation, we need to realize that whatever toxins, hormones, and /or carcinogens are in our water, inhalation of shower mists will result in the water contaminants to be absorbed directly into our bloodstream in 3 seconds as we breathe in the shower mist. We should have concerns regarding what is in our city waters, such as pharmaceuticals, hormones, fluoride (among many concerns regarding fluoride is that it is a hormone confuser). And the big one – carcinogens – are formed from the regular breakdown of chlorine in the presence of organics – particularly when potable water sources are lakes & rivers. Well water concerns are heavy metals, mal taste and/or smell, along with viruses & bacteria, depending upon the water.
Prior to 2004, our home regularly tested over 10 ppm of chlorine in city water from our kitchen faucet. The government did not have strict chlorine guidelines prior to 2004 for potable water Yet, if a public swimming pool tested over 3.0 ppm of chlorine, it was mandated that everyone get out of the pool. But, the allowable drinking water limit for chlorine by the government is 4.0! The conclusion? We need to selfeducate and take personal responsibility for ourselves and our family.
As a consulting water chemist to the automotive industry, I had developed a catalytic treatment system specifically for metals removal at a large automotive engine manufacturing plant The result was that it both saved the need for a $3M waste treatment plant, and potentially kept jobs from moving out of the USA. But the unintended realization was that it was a fantastic treatment system for city and well water, for it would not only remove carcinogens, toxic heavy metals, but also fluoride, hormones, pharmaceuticals, various fertilizers, chlorine, high hardness, mal smells & taste, yet leave in the good constituents of water such as the bicarbonates. This technology, developed by Applied Technologies Resources, referred to as SpringPure, was a breakthrough for affordable, effective residential water treatment. It is so effective, these toxins and more are listed
How does it make a difference to your family & the world?
right on the label – quite different from conventional water treatment systems.

Tucked away on 7.33 serene acres in historic Old Hickory, just minutes from the shimmering shoreline of Old Hickory Lake, stands a home that doesn’t just echo with music—it was built around it. Built by Country Music Hall of Famer “Whispering Bill” Anderson, this distinguished estate offers a rare opportunity to own a piece of Nashville’s living legacy.
Crafted for privacy, creativity, and comfort, this 5,000-square-foot executive manor has played host to the writing of chart-topping songs, heartfelt books, and even screenplays; each word penned within the quiet grandeur of a place made for inspiration.
As you step into the dramatic entryway, a grand double-sided fireplace, reminiscent of one found in MLB great Boog Powell’s own home, welcomes you in with both warmth and statement-making presence. Beyond it lies the great room: a soaring, light-filled space with marble floors, a cathedral ceiling, and an ornate stained-glass skylight that casts shifting colors across the room throughout the day. For longtime fans of country music history, the living room may feel familiar. Designed in the spirit of Johnny Cash’s iconic Hendersonville home (before it was lost to fire), this gathering space mirrors the same sense of rustic elegance and creative gravity, a space where memories are made and legends are born.
Every corner of this estate reflects careful thought and timeless craftsmanship. The owner’s suite is a private wing unto itself, complete with dual en-suite bathrooms. A second bedroom also features an en-suite, while two additional bedrooms share a Jack-and-Jill bath, making this home both
elegant and functional. Writers, executives, and artists alike will appreciate the sophisticated study, outfitted with its own fireplace, the very space where Anderson himself penned many of his works. Whether you’re editing a manuscript, laying down lyrics, or plotting a screenplay, there’s a quiet magic here that fuels the creative spirit.
The lower level of the estate is a sanctuary of potential. One section was specifically designed as a music studio, featuring a large tracking room and attached isolation booth, ideal for recording sessions, podcasting, or film scoring. It’s easy to imagine the next big song or breakout script being born here, just as so many have before.
Outdoors, the oversized patio invites you to watch deer graze at sunrise or host twilight gatherings with friends and family. A pristine pool, nestled among rolling hills and shaded woodlands, offers a peaceful retreat during Tennessee’s golden summers. Despite its privacy, the estate is remarkably connected—just 1.5 miles from Shutes Branch Recreation Area, 11 miles from Nashville International Airport, and within the sought-after Wilson County school district (with the benefit of Wilson County taxes).
This estate is a luxurious retreat and the
true touchstone for Nashville’s rich storytelling tradition. A place where lyrics were lived, stories were written, and creativity flourished in its purest form. Now, it’s your turn. Whether you’re a musician, writer, collector, or dreamer, this is your chance to own a residence that has shaped—and been shaped by—the voices of Music City.
Discover the spirit of Old Hickory, and write your next chapter where legends once walked.

“Give your honey-dos to the Busy B’s”
If you’re tired of the mess and can’t find the time (or the energy) to tackle it, Busy B’s Cleaning is the kind of local company that makes life a little easier, and a lot cleaner.
Started by Nolensville’s own Brenna Sledge, Busy B’s began in 2020 with one house, one vacuum, and one mission: to help. What started as a side favor for a friend has grown into a full-blown operation with over 30 employees and thousands of happy clients across Middle Tennessee. Last year alone, they cleaned 3,500+ homes, vacation homes, and businesses and have over 150 returning clients.
Brenna, a mom of three, knows firsthand how hard it is to juggle everything. So, her business was built to take something off your plate. Whether it’s your entire home, just the bathrooms, or a rental property in need of a refresh, Busy B’s handles it all. They’ve cleaned everything from Airbnbs to coffee shops like Mama’s Java and ice cream spots like Bruster’s, and they’ve earned Best of Nolensville two years in a row.
One thing that sets Busy B’s apart is their heart. They partner with nonprofits like Art Helps Cancer to offer free cleaning to families going through cancer treatment, because when you’re fighting something that big, the last thing you need to worry about is mopping the floors.
They’re open seven days a week, offer flexible scheduling (including evenings), and customize each clean to fit your needs. Pricing is hourly with a two-hour minimum, and all supplies are included. They even have scent-free options for allergy-sensitive clients.

With over five decades of legal experience, Michael D. Galligan has built a legacy rooted in justice, advocacy, and community service. As a founding member of the respected firm Galligan & Newman, Mr. Galligan has navigated some of the most challenging cases— from nationally covered criminal trials to intricate federal litigation and personal injury cases. He is a trusted advocate in McMinnville, Tennessee, and beyond.
Born in Washington, D.C., and raised in Viola, Tennessee, Mr. Galligan's journey after graduating from Middle Tennessee State University began with serving his
country. He volunteered for the U.S. Marine Corps and trained at Quantico, Virginia. He was stationed at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, and then Okinawa, Japan, where he was promoted to 1st Lieutenant and then Captain in the U.S. Marines and was transferred to Vietnam. His military discipline and leadership set the stage for a remarkable legal career, beginning with his graduation from the University of Tennessee College of Law in 1971.
For over 53 years, Mr. Galligan’s expertise spans criminal law, medical malpractice, employment law, domestic issues, and complex civil litigation. As a diplomat of the National Institute of Trial Advocacy (NITA) and a member of the Tennessee Trial Lawyers, his credentials are impeccable. Yet, his most rewarding role may have been as an adjunct professor at the University of Tennessee, where he taught trial advocacy for 13 years, shaping the next generation of legal minds.
Mr. Galligan’s dedication extends far beyond his legal practice. For 40 years, he served on the board of River Park Hospital, championing improved healthcare for Warren County. He remains actively involved in initiatives like Main Street McMinnville and WCTE, a public television station, ensuring cultural and educational enrichment for the community. Through his firm, he proudly sponsors
“Main Street Live,” a beloved summer music series that brings residents together.
When he’s not in the courtroom or mentoring young attorneys, Mr. Galligan nurtures his creative side. An avid painter, poet, and art enthusiast, he also finds joy in tennis, running, and spending time with his wife, Rhonda, their children, grandchildren, and Simba, their German Shepherd companion.
Clients are drawn to Mr. Galligan not only for his vast legal expertise but for his genuine care and dedication. Whether navigating complex litigation or offering counsel during life’s most challenging moments, he approaches every case with the same principles that have defined his career: integrity, determination, and the pursuit of justice.
