It’s time for the iron stomach competition for those folks who plan on snarfing down cotton candy, hot dogs and soda in between hopping on diving and twirling rides slinging bodies back and forth… all in the name of fun at the Polk County Fair. I jest to a degree. At least the temperatures will have dropped by 10 degrees or so compared to

last week. With very little chance of precipitation until next week, most of the high temperatures should be in the high 80s to low 90s. Some of you might want to bring a long sleeve shirt or windbreaker as there will be a light breeze and temperatures dropping into the high 50s and low 60s.
