LITTLE ROCK - At least five people were killed and dozens injured in Arkansas on Friday afternoon after a devastating tornado ripped through portions of the state capital. It was one of three confirmed tornadoes that hit Arkansas on Friday. In all, some 32 people were killed across the nation as a series of storms and tornadoes that stretched from Arkansas to Delaware on Friday. As of Monday morning, the National Weather Service (NWS) reported 14 tornadoes had been confirmed, with expectations to reach between 20-30. Some unofficial reports have that number as somewhere between 59 to 81 tornadoes as of Monday
