EXPERIENCE TURKS AND CAICOS JOINS INAUGURAL CEO ROUNDTABLE AT VIRTUOSO TRAVEL WEEK Experience Turks and Caicos Joined a group of Caribbean destinations at the inaugural Caribbean CEOs Roundtable at this year’s Virtuoso Travel Week in Las Vegas. Mr. Paul Pennicook, Interim CEO Consultant of Experience Turks and Caicos, attended the annual show and took his seat at the roundtable alongside tourism CEOs from The Bahamas, Barbados, Cayman Islands, the Dominican Republic, Grenada, Jamaica, Puerto Rico, St Kitts, and St Lucia. Attending CEOs were given two to three minutes to give an update on their respective destinations. Following the updates there was a short interactive discussion with the leadership of Virtuoso. “I found the session quite useful as we heard firsthand how other Caribbean destinations were doing given the challenges in the US market, which has been a top source market for the region, and we were able to discuss the way forward with the leadership of Virtuoso. It was good to see the Caribbean stand out on its own at such a prestigious travel event as Virtuoso Travel Week,” said Mr. Pennicook. In addition to attending the roundtable, Mr. Pennicook, ably assisted by a rep from ABA Marketing, met with over 100 travel advisors to educate them on our multiisland destination and everything we have to offer their clientele. Mr. Pennicook also joined our hotel partners for the famous Turks and Caicos costume party which was themed, “Once Upon a Cocktail”.
