he Utah Department of Health continues to sponsor COVID-19 testing sites, even as demand has been high since Thanksgiving weekend. All of these test sites offer PCR, rapid antigen tests and NP swab PRC tests, and all can test children ages three and older. You do need to register in advance at

testutah.com. In Davis County, the following sites offer testing: Bountiful Veterans Park, 740 South 100 East, Bountiful (Drive-through in the parking lot), Monday through Thursday–7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Friday–7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday–10 a.m. to 7 p.m., Sunday–7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Ellison Park, 700 North 2200 West, Layton (Drive-through in the northeast

SALT LAKE CITY—Former Rep. Paul Ray, a long-time member of the House of Representatives, underwent emergency surgery last weekend after suffering a bleeding issue in his brain. Ray was in the hospital recovering as of Wednesday. “Our prayers are with former Rep. Paul Ray and his family at this time,” said House Speaker Brad Wilson in a statement. “He is a good friend and honorably served our state for two decades.
