MVYouth scholarshipsare awarded based on both merit and need Semifinalistsare selected based on merit, using our evaluation criteria to identify the most diligent, focused and well-rounded students Then, MVYouth calculateseach student'sneed. First, we subtract the Estimated Family Contribution (EFC), a federal calculation that estimatesa family's capacity to support their child'seducation, followed by any institutional aid a student has been offered from the total Cost of Attendance (COA). MVYouth fillsthe gap, providing last dollar funding for all four yearsof college Need is recalculated each year and the award adjusted The graph below illustrateshow many scholarshipshave been awarded in variousaward sizesto the current twelve MVYouth scholars

All expenseslistedwereincurredbetweenJanuary 1 - December 31,2016 MVYouth'sfinancial statementsareauditedannually by Panagos& AssociatesCPAS,LLC
