Asfor virtually everyonethisyear, thethemeof my 2020 hasbeenall about readjustingmy expectations androllingwiththepunches.I wasinitially very disappointedthat my first semester at collegewould beZoomclassesfrommy dormroom, but onceI learnedthat many of my friendswerenot abletogoto their campusat all,I completely shiftedmy perspective Movingto Durham,NorthCarolina duringCOVID-19 hasbeenonebigadventure, and althoughit wasnothinglikewhat I expected,I had an incredibletime.

Despitethepandemic,I wasabletoexperienceplenty of ?first collegemoments.?Almost all of my classes wereonZoom, but they werestill interesting, challenging, andrewarding Meetingpeopleisharder without activitiesandwithmaskson, but I still made themost inspiringandamazingfriends I even auditionedfor twodanceclubsand wasthrilledto get acceptedintoboth!
