Alveolar trill. A single r is tapped, and a double r is trilled (even a single r may be trilled in singing for dramatic effect)

Unvoiced dental plosive: The single letter t is articulated slightly more forward than in English and dental but plosive
Composer's Note: While on tour in Sweden in the summer of 2017, the Allegro Con Brio singers were introduced to this folk song. The haunting melody and its structure provide flexibility to create what works for your choir voicing. Picture a ship far on the horizon.
