gliss. Lean into a steady slide/bend in pitch.
staggered Stagger the given idea (each repeat 2 - 3 times). Assign a few 'leaders' to sing as written. All others follow like an echo that fades away. The dotted brackets show approximately when all 'echos' should be complete.
staggered entry Same as above, (i.e. enter at different times) but all sustain the idea together after seperate attacks and then cut off and move to the next idea together. Re-enter 2 - 3 times. The dotted brackets show approximately when all entires should have occured. As for the regular 'staggered' indication (above), it is helpful to assign a few leaders to sing as written.
