The choral setting of THE LORD'S PRAYER was premiered on April 21, 2012 by the Winona State University Chamber Singers, Dr. Harry Mechell, director. The concert was part of a composer residency in which I had the good fortune to work with all of the instrumental and vocal ensembles in the Winona State University Department of Music. I'm very grateful to Dr. Rich Macdonald for his work in organizing the residency. THE LORD'S PRAYER actually began its life as a piece for soprano, mezzo-soprano and piano written for the wedding for two of my former students, Laura and Ben Peters.
