This recital is presented as a degree requirement for a Bachelor of Music in music performance. Casey Kim is a junior music performance major at University of the Pacific where he studies percussion with Dr. Jonathan Latta. Kim currently serves as a teacher for the Pacific Community Music School, Liberty High School in Brentwood, and Oakland Youth Symphony Orchestra. A winner of the 2025–26 Conservatory Performance Competition, Kim will perform the third movement of Paul Creston’s Concertino for Marimba with the Pacific Wind Bands on April 2, 2026.
