This recital is presented as a degree requirement for a Bachelor of Music in music performance.
Riko Hirata is a third-year student majoring in music performance and music therapy at University of the Pacific, where she studies flute under Dr. Brittany Trotter. At Pacific, Hirata participates in Pacific Wind Bands, Pacific Orchestras, and chamber ensembles on flute, piccolo, and alto flute. Beyond performance, she is engaged in student leadership and professional development through executive roles in the Conservatory Student Senate and the Pacific Music Therapy Association.
