CAMERON SHAHBAZI

Julija Lezsnyeva
A bámulatos énektechnikájáról, varázslatos hangjáról és sugárzó színpadi jelenlétéről ismert szoprán, Julija Lezsnyeva nemzetközi karrierje akkor kezdett meredeken emelkedni, amikor Kiri Te Kanawa meghívásának eleget téve – alig húszévesen – énekelt a londoni Royal Albert Hallban a Classical Brit Awards gáláján.

Renato Dolcini széles repertoárral rendelkezik, melynek legfontosabb szeletét a 17–18. századi olasz opera, Cavalieri,

Monteverdi, Cavalli, Landi, Vivaldi művei jelentik. A 2025–2026-os évadban Scarlatti operájában, a Mitridatéban Farnace szerepét énekli Palermóban, Ausztráliában pedig az Ausztrál Brandenburg Zenekarral turnézik.
Rinnat Moriah
Rinnat Moriah olyan rangos helyszíneken lépett már fel, mint a Teatro alla Scala, a berlini Staatsoper és Deutsche Oper, a Theater an der Wien, a Staatstheater Wiesbaden, a Nationaltheater Mannheim és a Badisches Staatstheater Karlsruhe. Széles repertoárján lírai és koloratúrszoprán szerepek egyaránt megtalálhatóak, például Zerbinetta (Ariadné Naxos szigetén), Adina (Szerelmi bájital), Gepopo és Venus (Ligeti György: Le grand macabre), Violetta (Traviata) vagy az Éj királynője (Varázsfuvola). Otthonosan mozog a 20. századi modern zene és a kortárs kompozíciók világában is. Olyan zeneszerzők műveit énekelte, mint Elliott Carter, Szofija Gubajdulina, Harrison Birtwistle, Luciano Berio, Salvatore Sciarrino, Beat Furrer, Philippe Manoury, Johannes Kalitzke, Wolfgang Rihm, Vito Žuraj és Jacob Druckman.
Thibault Noally
A Les Accents együttest a francia hegedűművész, Thibault Noally alapította, első fellépésükre a 2014 júliusában megrendezett Beaune-i Nemzetközi Barokk Operafesztiválon került sor. A 17–18. századi énekes és instrumentális műfajok, az itáliai barokk egyházzenei repertoár (oratóriumok, motetták) iránt elkötelezett együttes különösen fontosnak tartja a korszak mára már háttérbe szorult nagymestereinek – Caldara, Porpora, Bononcini, Stradella, Alessandro Scarlatti – újrafelfedezését, valamint nagyszabású operák színpadra állítását. A zenekar fellépett a Beaune-i és a Froville-i Fesztiválon, a La Chaise-Dieu Fesztiválon, a Saint-Michel-en-Thiérache-i Fesztiválon, az Auvers-sur-Oise-i Fesztiválon, a dortmundi Klangvokal Fesztiválon, a versailles-i Chapelle Royale-ban és a párizsi Salle Gaveau-ban.

Antonio Vivaldi: Il Tamerlano
For the music of Il Tamerlano (also known as Bajazet), which was premiered in Verona in 1735, Vivaldi revised arias from his earlier operas, and also borrowed from the works of such popular composers of the day as Johann Adolf Hasse and Geminiano Giacomelli. Making such a pasticcio was not unheard of or frowned upon, and Il Tamerlano now delights us with a splendid taster of mature Italian baroque opera and dazzles with a firework of vocal performance. Agostino Piovene’s libretto had been first set to music by Francesco Gasparini in Venice in 1711, and many others followed his example (including Leo, Porpora, Handel and Porta) before Vivaldi made his own attempt. The story makes the characters face complex dilemmas. Tamerlane cannot revel in his victory over the Ottoman emperor Bajazet because he loves the defeated ruler’s daughter Asteria; at the same time, Bajazet plans to commit suicide to make his defeat look more heroic, while worrying about his daughter’s fate. Asteria would prefer to reject Tamerlane, having feelings for the Greek prince Andronicus, but she is deeply offended that the young Greek has allied himself with Tamerlane. Andronicus is torn between love and the demands of political alliance. Further complicating the web of desires and obligations is Tamerlane’s fiancée, Princess Irene, who has half a mind to break off the engagement. Eventually, Asteria, Andronicus and Bajazet join forces to take action against Tamerlano, who is furious and condemns all three. This dramatic stalemate can only be resolved with Bajazet’s suicide.

Following a concert, a critic for The New York Times remarked that Renato Dolcini’s intense presence would have ‘set the opera stage alight – if there had been one.’ The most significant portion of his broad repertoire is naturally dedicated to 17th- and 18th-century Italian opera, including works by Cavalieri, Monteverdi, Cavalli, Landi and Vivaldi. In the 2025/26 season, he will sing the role of Farnace in Scarlatti’s opera, Mitridate in Palermo, and tour Australia with the Australian Brandenburg Orchestra.

Les Accents
Les Accents was founded by French violinist Thibault Noally, who first led them at the Beaune International Festival of Baroque Opera in July 2014. The ensemble, committed to the vocal and instrumental genres of the 17th and 18th centuries, and to the repertoire of Italian Baroque church music (oratorios, motets), attaches particular importance to the rediscovery of the great masters of the period – Caldara, Porpora, Bononcini, Stradella, Alessandro Scarlatti – who have now been relegated to the background, and to the staging of large-scale operas. Since its foundation, the ensemble has performed at the Beaune and Froville Festivals, the La Chaise-Dieu Festival, the Saint-Michel-en-Thiérache Festival, the Auvers-sur-Oise Festival, the Klangvokal Festival in Dortmund, the Chapelle Royale in Versailles and the Salle Gaveau in Paris.
