AT MULGRAVE CAREERS

Mulgrave, the International

School

of Vancouver is one of Canada’s leading independent, coeducational Pre-K–12 day schools and an established IB Continuum World School.

We are a non-profit, independent day school with a strong reputation for providing broad, holistic education for students in preschool to Grade 12.

Growing up, establishing a unique identity and learning at Mulgrave School are very special experiences indeed. Whether a student joins us at 3 or 16 years of age, we are committed to providing an outstanding and personalised education that prepares young people to make the very best of the opportunities and challenges in their future lives

Good learning and an excellent, well-rounded education are not only about acquiring the best possible skills and academic qualifications, but also about developing personal qualities, enjoying school, and following interests and passions in a range of other activities, such as athletics, the arts, outdoor education, community service and much more We aim to inspire and challenge students to fulfil their potential in a variety of contexts

Perhaps one of the most special things about our school is our community. We have curious learners, dedicated faculty and staff, thoughtful leaders, inspirational alumni, and committed families. Our approach is one of partnership and we delight in the deep connections that are developed within our community

Our

campus is located at the base of Cypress Mountain, providing our students and faculty with breathtaking ocean views and access to nature.

The purpose-built spaces on our stunning campus inspire our diverse community to develop interpersonal and intercultural skills, attitudes, and values that allow our students to thrive and be happy anywhere in the world

Students and staff at Mulgrave are able to experience and make use of specialist spaces, including embedded libraries throughout the school, performance theatre and black box studio, multiple state-of the art gymnasiums, fitness studio, climbing centre, turf playing field, specialist art and design studios, a suite of well-equipped science laboratories, a modern film studio, and a comfortable cafeteria.

Outdoor space is also very important to us so students can connect with our beautiful surroundings, learn how to steward the environment, and learn about Indigenous Ways of Teaching and Learning. A nature trail encircles our campus and students take their learning outside often.

The strength of our Mulgrave community lies in the passion, dedication, and expertise of our staff. Relationships and community are at the heart of what makes Mulgrave so special, as a place to learn and to work We emphasise this from our annual two-day orientation and buddy pairings for new staff, through to the many life events and professional accomplishments that we celebrate together. Our Social & Wellness Committee organises a wide array of events that bring colleagues across all divisions and departments together to strengthen connections A strong and supportive workplace community, where lifelong friendships are formed, is our ultimate goal

Our staff culture is built on collaboration, inclusion, and continuous professional growth. Teachers work across divisions and subject areas to share best practices, innovate in their classrooms, and ensure every student feels seen and supported Diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice are central to how staff engage and develop, with ongoing training and reflection ensuring Mulgrave remains a place where all voices are valued.

More than anything, Mulgrave’s staff are not just employees; they are mentors, role models, and collaborators who help create the warm, caring “Mulgrave magic” felt by students, families, and colleagues alike

to inclusion

We have an unwavering commitment to cultivate a sense of belonging and mobilise all community members to engage in the process of influencing change. With dedication, we work to create a safe, brave space for our students and staff where they feel comfortable using their voice and agency to advocate for themselves and injustices in their local and global communities.

We seek to make sure that the values of diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice inform our everyday interactions and our whole community's approach to learning and interpersonal relationships

We are committed to fostering an inclusive and equitable workplace. We warmly welcome applications from Indigenous peoples, people from Black communities, racialised persons, persons with disabilities, members of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community, newcomers, and individuals from other equity-deserving groups
