Message from the President Founders' Day luncheon to Feature Past Deneral
President Washington

Brothers, we have once again, come to the time of year where we pause and take stock of what it means to be an Alpha man. That time of year for us in Mu Lambda is the month of October, when we celebrate with reclamation and fellowship, with paraphernalia and light heartedness, and for some, with lightheadedness. But more importantly, for all of the fun and laughs and for all of the fellowship, it is also atime to be somber and reflective —atime to revisit the past, to reUsh its ■memories, but then to move on. We look around us. We observe our peersyounger Brothers and the Brothers new to Mu Lambda, and we think quietly to ourselves: “Where are we going? Where will we be at the end of another fraternal year?”
Mu Lambda will celebrate the 85th Anniversary of the Fraternity’s founding with a Fraternal Luncheon on Saturday, December 7at the Howard Inn, focusing on the theme, “Shaping Future on the Basis of our —Promoting the African-American Male.” The keynoter will be Brother Walter Washington, Past General President, and currently President of Alcorn State University located in Lorman, Mississippi. Alumni Tickets are $20.00; alimited number of tickets for College
