Mu Lambda is proud of two of its members, Brother Ambassador Horace G. Dawson, Jr. and ^k-otherClintonC.Jones,III,whowererecently appointed by General President Milton C. Davis to serve on the Alpha World Policy Council. The Council was commissioned at Howard University in January, and Brother Edward W. Brooke was named Chairman and Brother Dawson, co-chairman. The Alumni/ae Council of the American Baptist Seminary of the West elected Brother William Edward Calbert as the 1996 Alumnus of the Vear. He has served with distinction both in the military and hospital settings, as Interim Director of Chaplaincy Services for ABC National Ministries, and as International President of the Alumni/ae Council of the American Baptist Seminary of the West.
