Ihope the holiday season has been full of memories with family and friends. When we meet as abrotherhood again, it will be anew year that is full of promise and opportunities. The past year has been atime of achievement and progress for the chapter. Working together, brothers in Mu Lambda chapter have made a direct Impact on the citizens and communities across the Washington D.C. metro area. In the New Year, we will build on these successes, embracing the challenges and opportunities ahead. The year, 2004, ended with adebate from two brothers vying to lead the Eastern Region. Mu Lambda hosted one of the rst Eastern Region Vice President’s Debates during its December chapter meeting. The success of this event was led and moderated by Brother Lamar Arnold. This debate provided brothers with the opportunity to Interact directly with the future leaders of the Eastern Region. Other successes In 2004 include providing many scholarships to DC high school seniors, leading avoter registration drive that Introduced Washington D.C. citizens to the power of the vote, leading Project Alpha programs at Washington D.C. middles schools to teach young men about the consequences of sexual activity from amale perspective, donating over $6,000 to the MLK Memorial, implementing the fraternity’s Go To High School, Go to College program via a
successful 9*^ Annual Beautillion Program, hosting a

successful Black and Gold Scholarship Gala to raise scholarship money for the Mu Lambda Foundation,
