LS Things To Do At ^The April 6, 1995 Chapter Meeting
1. Purchase Tickets To Beautillion to be held April 29,1995.
2. Ask Questions Of Jhe Eastern Region VP Candidates.
3. Make Nominations for Mu Lambda Chapter Offices, Mu Lambda Foundation Board of Governors and Beta -Mu Lambda Corporation Board.
4. Meet and Vote On Potential Brothers Desiring To Partake In The 1995 Mu Lambda Intake Process.
5. Pay Your DUES.

Brothers, the success of the Beautillion depends on you. The Beaux have purchased ten tables. Thus, accounting for 100 participants. The remaining 300 ^eats are to be purchased or casued to be purchased by members of Mu Lambda. The tickets are $60 each and of that amount $22 is tax deductible.
We have afine group of African American High School Seniors to present to the Washington Metropolitan Area. The Beautillion Program is in harmony with the “Go To High School, Go To College” Program of our beloved Alpha Phi Alpha.
The date and time of the Beautillion is set. The Beaux are ready. Are the members of Mu Lambda ready to accept its reponsibiliry of presenting these young men to the public? In other words. Brother, have you purchased your ticket? If you are not part of the solution (of success), you are part of the problem (of failure). Don’t cause Mu Lambda to fail in its First Annual Beautillion. Beautillion Countdown
According to Ecclesiastes, "To every thing there is aseason, and atime to every purpose under the heaven;" Mu Lambda’s first Beautillon Gala will be in season on Saturday April 29, beginning at 6:00 PM at the Washington Shearton Hotel when 10 young African American men will be WALTZING and STEPPING into Washington social milieu. These young men who hail from Archbishop Carroll, Benjamin Banneker, Bishop McNamara, The Field School, Good Counsel and Joel Spingarn High School have spent their Sunday afternoons this past month along with their escorts, preparing to be symbolically introduced into society. As part of their preparation for the Beautillion, the students have sold ads and participated in various workshops. Their next workshop will be on etiquette rules and guidelines.
The support and efforts of the entire Beautillion Committee have been enormous in organizing and planning for the Beaux' big night. Brother Arlester Brown, Chair of the Awards Committee, has been

The Beta-Mu Lambda Corporation will hold its 1995 Annual Meeting on Thursday, April 6, 1995, immediately following the Mu Lambda Chapter meeting. Membership in the corporation is limited to those brothers with an of fi cial Mu Lambda Pass Card. All brothers are encouraged to be present at this historic meeting (which means being fully financial with the chapter).
There will be several important issues discussed at the annual meeting, all relating to the matter of housing. One important item is the report of the Investment and Finance Committee, chaired by Brother Elmer Moore. Asecond, is areport by the Fundraising Committee, chaired by Brother Thomas A. Ducken fi eld. addition, other relevant issues will be discussed.

During the Mu Lambda Chapter meeting brothers will be asked to nominate and vote on membership to the corporation board. The Corporation has a15-member rotating board.
That is, each year 5positions become vacant. Incumbents are eligible for reelection. This year, two of the five incumbents will not seek nomination or re-election. Therefore, qualified and interested brothers should make their desires known. The board is especially in need of brothers with strong leadership skills in housing and urban development, real estate design and development, and fi nancial planning.
Brothers, please develop your thoughts and prepare your questions ahead of time. Ihope to make this avery informative, yet very involved
