As we commit to 2004 to Improving our lives and the lives of others, let us not forget to include Mu Lambda Chapter Programs in the plans. Let us resolve to:

'Complete repairs at our Alpha House so that we may have some committee meetings.

'Support the Beautilllon Program— become amentor or attend agroup session.

'Help our Chapter by becoming an active member of one of the Chapter's committees.

'Invite aBrother to our Chapter’s meeting.

'Help our Chapter reach Distinguished status—participating in the programs of the National and Region Offices, j.e.. Project Alpha &Leadership Development Institute.

Thanks are extended to the more than 200 Brothers and Guests who attended our Black and Gold Scholarship Gala. As you know, this event serves as afund-raiser for our Chapter’s endeavors and Iam pleased for the yeoman efforts and skills that went into the planning and execution of this wonderful celebration. On behalf of the Brotherhood, Icongratulate the award recipients, Chairman James McDonald and the Black and Gold Committee for an extraordinary, “The Rising of the Sphinx.” As Imeandered around the Washington Times’ Arbor Ballroom, it truly was thrilling to have amoment to chat with many of you and to have some face time with Brothers that Ihad not seen in along time.
