I hope everyone enjoyed their three-d weekends in February, I know I took ad of it to go to more service events! Spea
I saw a couple of you guys at the Lunar New Year Festival as well as the K-Pop Dance at Raymond Case, so that's always fun. Did you make it to the Feb DCM?? Hopefully all the insta story spamming was enough of a reminder haha! For me, I'm excited to dress up and take tons of photos, so I can't wait to see you guys there!!

As for future events, we still have the Running of the Elk and other service events, so make sure to check our sign-up form, specifically from the google classroom! Also, elections are freshly coming up!! I highly, HIGHLY recommend running if you're interested, as joining Key Club board has taught me so many things, sharpened my skills in honestly everything, and gave me so many awesome friends. Come to future meetings every Thursday to learn more about each role, and DON'T be afraid to reach out!! That's all monsters, and for the last time; thanks for reading <3

I hope everyone is starting off this month with lots of love!! January wasn't a very active month, BUT we did have our D7 conclave where we were able to see our new elected LTGs!! We had our January DCM with Division 7 North where members were able to create vision boards and had the opportunity to create cards for service hours!! Lastly for the month of January, we had applications for the Division Judging Committee. This committee is made up of members and officers who are willing to serve in division recognition for Division 7 South!

For the month of February, we will be hopefully be hosting elections for the new 26-27 board!! Make sure to attend our general meetings for more updates about elections if you are planning to be apart of the board! We will hold training elections in order for members to learn more about the duties of certain board positions and what to expect if running!

Lunar New Year Tet Festival Lunar New Year Tet Festival
Helping out at the Lunar New Year Tet Festival was so fun!! After set-up, there isn't much to do so we were given lots of freedom to explore, support vendors, and watch the many interesting and unique shows. I remember seeing tons of lion dancers, traditional Vietnamese dances, and young traditional Chinese dancers! There were so many more talented Asian Americans at the event, it was amazing seeing so many people like me performing there! K-Pop Family Dance at Raymond Case
K-Pop Family Dance at Raymond Case
As many know, I love going to Raymond Case events to visit my old elementary school for their fun activities and this event did not disappoint! For the K-Pop Family Dance, I had helped set up, station drinks, and clean up My station was handling water, juice, and soda for tickets during the dance. Other volunteers were handling cup noodles, spam musubi, and candy. It was very light and easy, especially with many of the kids being very polite. Although, it was sometimes funny to hear kids trying to shout what soda they wanted over the loud music Looking back, this service event was very simple and fun, and I recommend anyone needing service hours to help out at Raymond Case!
