Bulletin Editor's Note
Hi Monsters!! My name is Zoe Yan and I am beyond excited to begin working as your bulletin editor for the new 2024-2025 term! I hope all of you are looking forward to our summer events after the busy schedule of May. I sincerely hope your exams and finals went smoothly! Remember to take breaks and relax, as testing can be a very stressful environment (especially for me HAHA). As for the goodbyes, I know it was hard saying goodbye to our seniors ;; But instead of missing them and reminiscing on last year, let’s congratulate them and ourselves for completing this year! There’s only so much time left, so let’s enjoy the new days to the fullest!
On that note, I’m personally very excited for the upcoming months and have already been planning new designs and ways to showcase all of your hard work and service! Make sure to keep in touch with our extended board and watch out for news of our summer service events! We have a lot planned this summer, so don’t miss out! And lastly, don’t forget to drink tons of water and ensure that you stay safe when you’re volunteering out in the heat. Have a fun summer, monsters!

President's Letter
What’s Roarin, Monsters!!! My name is Angelina Vong and I am beyond excited to proudly serve you all as your president for the upcoming 2024-2025 term!
I know it’s been a tough and long year for all of us but we did it!! Though with this new term, it was really hard to say our goodbyes to our seniors but they are still always here for us! So, let’s not dwell on our seniors leaving but be pumped for our new term!! We made it to summer and with that in mind, we plan on having many summer events which I hope to see you all there!
As your current president, I hope to be able to provide you guys with many different fun events to fill your summer with fun! Diligently working with my board, we hope to successfully plan a summer social this year and many different interclubs this summer, so I hope to see you all there. Despite the many exciting social events in the summer, we also hope to see you all at service events!! Overall, I hope you guys are excited for this summer and I hope as a club we can bond with one another and create long lasting memories. Lastly, remember to stay HYDRATED and wear sunscreen especially during service events!

PAST EVENTS
As the 2023-2024 key club year came to a close, Monterey trail key club hosted a banquet where we were able to say goodbye to our seniors for the last time. We joined in fun activities such as playing cards and eating yummy foods, served by our 2024-2025 board members. We all gathered together to watch performances from mt students and other seniors from division seven south With many heart warming speeches, singing and dancing, our own board surprised us with a video summing up the past year. Speaking of surprises, some of our members gifted each individual senior with a designated poster. Overall, it was a perfect way to end this key club year.

Participating in the water activity (DCM) was an absolute blast! I arrived thinking that this would be another boring dcm but after the awards ceremony I got to use a bunch of water guns. We kicked off with a bunch of water balloon games that had us all soaked and laughing. The anticipation and excitement within each game kept us engaged and entertained. Between activities, we bonded over shared experiences, forming deeper connections within the Key Club community. Overall, the DCM was a perfect blend of fun and purpose, leaving me with cherished memories and a renewed sense of camaraderie.

FUTURE EVENTS
The 2024 Kaiser Permanente Women’s Fitness Festival takes place on June 2 on 9th Street. Volunteers will be set to a race day packet pickup, fluid stations, course monitors, finish line station, post-race refreshments, grounds crew, and more. This event gives out free shirts to volunteers, so don’t miss out, monsters!
We are hosting an interclub with Consumnes Oaks and Sheldon’s Key Club on June 6th at Rau Park! Activities include slime making, pieing our presidents, having a raffle, and so much more! Bond with other schools’ key clubs and enjoy the new summer with us, can’t wait to see you there!
