On the occasion of the Western Balkans Summit in Poznań, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland in co-operation with the Łukasiewicz Institute prepared an album publication, Learning from the Past, Preparing for the Future. In its three parts, the publication presents some historical aspects of the role and significance of Poznań in Poland’s path to regaining independence, shows Poznań’s historical ties with the Western Balkans countries, and illustrates the stages of development of the Berlin Process up till the Western Balkans Summit in Poznań in July 2019.
