The exhibition “The Odyssey of Wawel’s Treasures 1939-1961” illustrates the fate of the Polish national treasures from the Wawel Royal Castle and the Royal Castle in Warsaw, saved during World War II and brought to Canada, where they found refuge for over twenty years. The exhibition was developed in 2007 thanks to the cooperation of the Canadian Polish Congress, the Association “Polish Community”, the Wawel Royal Castle, the Polish Canadian Business and Professional Association of Windsor, the Polish Senate, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland and the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Ottawa.
Wystawa fotograficzna „Odyseja Skarbów Wawelskich 1939-1961” przedstawia losy polskich skarbów narodowych z Zamku Królewskiego na Wawelu oraz Zamku Królewskiego w Warszawie, wywiezionych podczas II wojny światowej do Kanady, gdzie znalazły schronienie na ponad dwadzieścia lat. Wystawa powstała w 2007 roku.
