q Bridge #18 at Rock Creek, 1201 W. Ozark Trail –Completed in 1922, the distinctive Route 66 bridge now anchors a new roadside park.
q The Lowdermilk Road – From the western side of Bridge 18 extends just over three miles of the Lowdermilk Road, a 1911 path later absorbed by the Ozark Trail and U.S. Highway 66. Still in daily use, it is Oklahoma’s oldest surviving patch of the Mother Road.
q The Heart of Route 66 Auto Museum, 13 Sahoma Lake Road – This growing collection of classic vehicles will undergo a 60-percent expansion in 2026. It already boasts the world’s largest gasoline pump.
q Downtown Sapulpa National Register of Historic Places District – These protected nine blocks feature several buildings older than the Lowdermilk Road. Check out the preserved architecture of America’s Main Street, the renovated original Route 66 path called Dewey Avenue, its new walking trails, markets both vintage and modern, and so much more!
q The Waite Phillips-Barnsdall Filling Station Museum, 26 E Lee Ave. – This 1923 gasoline station preserves the Mother Road’s vital service side. It sits just across the street from the Sapulpa Historical Society Museum, one of the nation’s finest municipal exhibition halls and keeper of the Sapulpa Fire Museum!

q Burnett Mansion, 320 S. Main St. – This plantationstyled home provides a sparkling example of the home most Sapulpans wished for when Congress approved U.S. Highway 66 on Nov. 11, 1926. Now operated by The Kante Group’s MakeSense Foundation, the mansion is open to tours by the public.
q The John Frank Home, 1300 Luker Lane – Many Route 66 fans may remember Frankhoma Pottery, a wonderful manufacturer of plates, mugs, and memorabilia that anchored Sapulpa’s eastern arm of the Mother Road. While that firm is making a comeback in Glenpool, John Frank’s old home, designed by Bruce Goff, provides Sapulpa a lasting architectural jewel built in the potter’s image. It is open to the public by appointment and for tours.

James Calley Brewing Company is a brewpub in historic downtown Sapulpa, known as the city’s first brewery and for its unique vessel-to-vessel brewing system. Located in a renovated 1915 building, it offers craft beer, elevated pub fare, and a welcoming, community-focused atmosphere for locals and visitors alike.
This 1911 plantation-styled home provides a sparkling example of the home most Sapulpans wished for when Congress approved U.S. Highway 66 on Nov. 11, 1926. Now operated by The Kante Group’s MakeSense Foundation, the mansion is open 5 days a week, 9am-4pm for tours or by appointment for weekend and large group tours.
