Pergola Post Mount Kit
Fasten bottom mount to concrete substructure using at least 3/8" x 3" wedge type anchors (not provided). Measure, cut and insert the 3-¼" aluminum ex trusion into the bottom mount and fasten at all connection points (use ¼" x 4" bolts). Make sure all is square and plumb. May have to shim under mount for unlevel surfaces. Slide the top mount over the 3-¼" aluminum ex trusion to the built in stop and make sure plumb with the bottom mount. Fasten top mount (use ¼" x 4" bolts)

Fasten spacer collars (round columns only) to aluminum post according to instructions. Make sure post & collars are stable. May need to modify spacers for 6" columns.
Install the 2x6 vinyl beam stock (with wood 2x6 inside) to the top mount. Either bolt through all pieces (using ¼" x 7 bolts) for superior stability or fasten each beam separately. Plug the bolt holes with hole plugs. Make sure bolts do not extend through where hole plugs will not work. 1 2 3 4
After checking square & plumb on mount, slide column over mount. Install all appropriate skirts and trims on column. Slide cellular PVC board over top mount to where it rests on top of column. You can trim down overall dimensions for a proportioned look. Install 4" vinyl sleeve and cap.
