CORAL RESTORATION WORKSHOP II Learn coral “micro-fragmentation” techniques for reef restoration using multiple massive coral species, at Mote Marine Laboratory’s Elizabeth Moore International Center for Coral Reef Research & Restoration (IC2R3), on Summerland Key in Florida, U.S., with Dr. David Vaughan. During this intensive workshop, you will learn all techniques necessary to conduct cutting edge coral fragmentation and sexual larval settlement and survival in a land-based nursery system and learn the techniques for proper monitoring of field out-plantings. Note: Field trips to monitoring sites require snorkeling equipment and basic swimming skills.
