As the Director of Strategy & Innovation at Altura Technologies, based in Denver, Colorado, Morgan has played a pivotal role in integrating cutting-edge technology with human-centered design to help organizations navigate and thrive in rapidly evolving markets. Born in Portland, Oregon, Morgan developed a passion for systems thinking, leadership, and policy at an early age. She attended Lincoln High School’s International Baccalaureate program, where she laid the foundation for her academic journey. After enrolling at the University of Michigan, Morgan graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Business Economics in 2006. During her undergraduate years, Morgan participated in internships with prominent think tanks and led student government initiatives, gaining valuable experience in strategic planning and leadership. Morgan went on to pursue an MBA in Strategic Management and Organizational Innovation from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley, graduating in 2013. While at Berkeley, Morgan engaged in consulting projects with multinational companies and studied cross-border operations in Spain, which deepened her global business acumen. Morgan’s professional career began at Accenture, where she worked as a Business Analyst in the Strategy and Operations division. She later transitioned to Teach For America, focusing on expanding teacher placements in underserved areas of California. After earning her MBA, she joined Sun Grid Renewables, where she led regional expansion efforts, developed go-to-market strategies, and managed key partnerships. Under her leadership, Sun Grid doubled its installation capacity, and Morgan played a crucial role in securing a $12 million strategic acquisition.
