Donate old clothes, toys and more from your doorstep
West Northamptonshire Council has partnered with Anglo Recycling to offer all West Northamptonshire residents free doorstep collections of unwanted clothing, footwear, textiles, bric -a-brac, toys, CDs, books, kitchenware, and small household items. Almost everything donated is reused or recycled, making the service both convenient and environmentally friendly. Residents simply book a collection online, then bag or box items and leave them on the doorstep; drivers can also collect directly from the front door if preferred. The service does not accept soiled, ripped, damaged, wet, or bulky items such as furniture, duvets, pillows, mattresses, bicycles, or large appliances. Anglo manages all collections, while the council handles bulky waste separately. Funds raised support local charities. A morning of music and inspiration
On Saturday 7th February, NMPAT Centres opened their doors to young people across Northamptonshire with a love of music and the performing arts. The centres were buzzing with new budding musicians, lively rehearsals, and exciting instrumental sessions, with each location having its own unique offering.
Families met friendly staff and discovered how Saturday mornings can become a place to spark confidence, creativity, and teamwork.
The next Centre Open Morning will take place on Saturday 16th May at locations across Northamptonshire, including Brackley, Daventry, Duston, Kettering, Northampton, Oundle, and Wellingborough.

Four weeks of free training for new beginners at TISKA Karate
TISKA (Traditional International Shotokan Karate Association) heads up clubs nationally and internationally. TISKA was established by Gursharan Sahota, the Chief Instructor (9th Dan) and founder. Back in 2015 he was asked to accept the title of “Shihan” meaning Master Instructor. This title is given as a sign of respect for the person named. Shihan currently teaches over 40 classes per week to students in Beaconsfield, Chalfont St Peter, Amersham, Chesham, Berkhamsted, Dunstable, Northamptonshire and Leicestershire and has bought many hundreds of students to Black belt standard and beyond. Easter fun and feathered friends arrive at Delapré Abbey
