The Royal Windsor Championship Dog Show

The Royal Windsor Championship Dog Show returns to Home Park from Thursday 25th to Sunday 28th June. With nearly 200 breeds competing beneath the iconic backdrop of Windsor Castle, it’s a true celebration for dog lovers.
Think summer Crufts… blending top-level competition with a relaxed, festival atmosphere. Alongside championship judging, enjoy the fun dog show for all dogs and their humans at the weekend, in aid of Battersea Old Windsor, with Have-a-Go Agility, Scent Work, and a Gundog Scurry, and discover more about the Crufts Club.
There’s something for everyone to enjoy throughout the show, from Crufts-inspired activities to hands-on experiences and displays. Growing with Leighton Park
Pupils from Leighton Park have been growing their creativity and sustainability at Kew Gardens on the Year 8 art trip! The group was inspired by the exotic paintings of the Marianne North Gallery and by the vibrant mandalas of the Singh Twins before exploring the iconic Palm House and the Treetop Walkway.
Surrounded by nature, students created circular poems inspired by the sounds and sights of Kew, took part in a fun origami challenge, crafting paper parrots before heading to The Hive, an immersive outdoor installation highlighting the essential role of bees in sustaining biodiversity.

St George’s School Windsor Castle Celebrates Performing Arts
and Boarding Achievements
St George’s School Windsor Castle has been celebrating multiple achievements across the school in recent months. Mirroring the outstanding results in the school’s LAMDA speech and drama exams earlier in the academic year, which saw 98% of candidates achieving a Distinction, the school’s recent ABRSM music exams were equally impressive. With assessments covering a wide range of instruments as well as voice, and spanning Initial Grade to Grade 8, the school’s musicians achieved a 100% pass rate, with 97% being awarded a Merit or Distinction.
In addition, the school was shortlisted in two categories at the Boarding Schools’ Association 2026 Supporting Excellence Awards. The school itself for a Boarding Innovation Award and its Head of Safeguarding and Mental Health, Ally Onions, who was recognised as a nominee for the prestigious Emma Pattison Award for Compassionate Leadership.
