The Purchase Referred Care Coordinator is responsible for performing the daily functions necessary to efficiently carry out the operation of the FSST Health Center PRC Program, which includes referral process, assures compliance with federal eligibility rules and ensure prompt payment of claims. Work with staff in identifying patients who are eligible for alternate resources. Coordinate the implementation of department operating policies and procedures. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: Must have high school diploma or GED. One to two (1-2) years’ experience in a professional office setting; experience/ knowledge in medical/billing field preferred but not required. Strong computer skills. Experience with the Resource and Patient Management System (RPMS) preferred. Must submit to a background check and pre-employment drug and alcohol test.
