F La native de Cologne est une guerrière en mouvement qui ne fait pas de distinction entre sa vie et sa musique. Ayo signifie « joie » en yoruba. Joyful, son premier album, met tout le monde d’accord en 2006. Le titre «Down on my knees» est un succès international. Elle collabore avec des artistes aussi variés que Saul Williams, Craig Ross, Mathieu Chedid ou encore Youssoupha. Elle tourne à partir de 2013 avec son quatrième album, Ticket to the World, sublime de sincérité et
d’élégance. Appelée tout récemment par le cinéma, Ayo tiendra le rôle principal du prochain film de Raoul Peck. En tournage à Haïti, elle rentrera juste à temps pour ouvrir le Club le 4 juillet, sous d’autres projecteurs…

Since 2013, she has been touring in support of her fourth album, Ticket to the World, a sublimely beautiful work of sincerity and elegance. Having recently turned her hand to acting, Ayo plays the lead in Raoul Peck’s latest offering, which is currently being filmed in Haïti. She returns to her home continent in time to open the Club on 4 July.
