This picture is one that really hits home with my mom, dad, and both sisters in it. My sister and I where both reconized on stage for SAE award areas.
This was a Picture of me my softmore year working on the hay wagon. Sence then I built a concrete tool trailer and a portable coral.
This is one of my proudest moments after finishing 2 place in the Ag Mech contest.
Pool party was a big hit in the July heat.

Why is FFA important to you: FFA is important to me because it showed me that I can use all of my experience in my future career. It also showed me that I have a built in family with the members and other officers.

Members: Advice I would give to my fellow and future FFA Members would be to get out and get involved more in the FFA. FFA teaches you so much and it’s a really fun experience being in FFA.

Why is FFA important to you: FFA has grown to be one of my favorite things to be a part of. It has grown me to be a better person, a better friend, and a better leader. The members in FFA have become my second family, who I will always look upon for help.

Why did you want to become an FFA Officer: To follow in my brother's footsteps. What advice would you give your fellow and future FFA Members: Don’t stop because you aren’t comfortable. Continue to grow and pursue the life you want to live. If life gets hard, turn to a friend, they may be in the same boat as you so it's better to be together than alone.

Members: It is okay to be loud and talk to others and make friends. It might seem scary, talking and being the loudest one in the room. But that is how you meet new people and get to learn new things that you would have never learned before.

Sarcoxie FFA Greenhand Degree Recipents

FFA members enrolled in their first year of high school credit agricultural science, that have satisfactory plans for a supervised agricultural experience (SAE) program and that have demonstrated their understanding of the history and purpose of the FFA may apply for their Greenhand Degree. This degree of active membership is awarded at the chapter level.

Sarcoxie FFA Chapter Degree Recipients

Those FFA members that have received their Greenhand degree may apply for the Chapter Degree. Members must be enrolled in an agricultural science class, have completed at least two semesters in agricultural science at or above the ninth grade level, have in operation an approved SAE program, demonstrate leadership skills and be actively involved in the activities of the local FFA chapter. This degree of active membership is awarded at the chapter level.

The Area FFA degree is the highest degree awarded on the area level. To receive the area FFA degree you must meet the minimum requirements of the State FFA degree outlined in the FFA manual.

Sarcoxie FFA State Degree Recipients

The State FFA degree is the highest membership the State FFA Association can award. FFA members may apply to receive the State Degree only after they have received the Chapter degree. Those wishing to receive their State Degree must have been an active FFA member for at least two years, complete at least four semesters of agricultural science at or above the ninth grade level, maintain a supervised agricultural experience (SAE) program, invest significant time and money in their SAE, demonstrate their leadership skills and show a commitment to the FFA through involvement at the chapter level and above.
